 Our Singles Walking and Photography Weekend in the Malverns is a great weekend, staying in the lovely 3 star Abbey Hotel, Great Malvern right in the heart of the Malverns.  The Malvern Hills are a great venue for a fun-packed weekend of photography or walking with a group of like-minded singles and solo travellers on this weekend, specially for singles and solo travellers.

The area: The Malvern Hills dramatically rise out of the landscape dividing the counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire with the rolling hills and fields of Herefordshire to the West and the flatter plains of the Severn Valley to the East. The highest point is the Worcestershire Beacon (425m). Malvern is a spa town, the hills have many springs and fountains flowing from outlets all around them, its centre abounds with elegant Victorian Architecture built during its heyday in the mid 19th Century. Nowadays Great Malvern is a small pretty town surrounded by the beautiful Worcestershire countryside famous for its Spring Water, Elgar and Morgan cars. The Malvern Hills offer some great walking and excellent opportunities for photography with its hills, undulating countryside and pretty hamlets and villages. Great Malvern is easily accessible from the M5, M6, M42 and M40 and the railway station is less than a mile from the hotel. All in all a great area for our walking and photography weekend for singles and solo travellers.

The area is great for walking and photography. Jackie will lead a walk on both days. The photography workshops and in- field tuition sessions will be lead by Steve. Steve will also be on hand to offer one-to-one advice on photography, whether you have a digital or manual SLR or compact camera. The area offers numerous photographic opportunities in around the town. The photography workshops will take the form of an introductory workshop on getting to know your camera and its functions, composition as well as in-the-field talks, demonstrations, one-to-ones, review sessions and discussions.

The Malverns Walking and Photgraphy holiday is run on several weekends throughout the year. Singles weekends and singles holidays in the UK are a good way to try a singles walking and photography holiday before trying a singles holiday abroad.
