We have put together a fantastic 4 night Activity break for singles in Northern France for the August Bank Holiday weekend in the Picardy region of France. The centre for our singles activity holiday lies just an hour from Calais in the historical town of Rue. The three star Château hotel is within easy walking distance of Rue. Rue is situated between Le Touquet and Abbeville near the beautiful wide sandy Picardy beaches. There is a wealth of historic and cultural attractions locally, catering for every possible taste and interest - 10 minutes from the local beaches, 15 minutes from St Valery sur Somme, 60 minutes from the Somme battlefields, 50 minutes from Agincourt, 140 minutes from Paris and 45 minutes from Amiens. On Saturday morning there is a lively local market in Rue, where you might want to pick up some tasty local produce, such as goats cheese, made in one of the nearby farms.

On your free day you can choose to do more activities, relax, take a trip to Paris, Amiens, Abbeville, visit the local beach or take a battlefield tour to the Somme. We will be staying 4 nights full board in single en suite rooms in a friendly 3 star Château Hotel for our singles holiday abroad. The Château hotel originally built in 1714 is situated in over 40 acres of beautiful parkland. The Château hotel is located on the outskirts of the historic town of Rue. Originally established as a Roman outpost, it grew in prosperity in the 16th century due to its port and later became the capital of the region and is only 1 hour from the port of Calais and just 5 minutes off the A16 motorway which links Calais – Amiens – Paris.

All rooms have en suite facilities and TV. There are no single supplements on this singles Activity holiday. The Hotel has a lovely restaurant serving typical French cuisine. The Château hotel has a terrace overlooking extensive grounds and a lake often frequented by deer and other wildlife. There are two bars and three lounges for our singles group to relax in.

A Just4you co-ordinator will be on site to ensure that your singles activity holiday is as enjoyable as possible and to coordinate the activity programme and help with any trips and visits you want to make.
